Quick Attack: (The user lunges at the target at a speed that makes it almost invisible. This move always goes first.)
Loretta dashes forward and hits her target, usually slamming into them or tackling them down.  She learned the move from literally tackling people-usually into pools or the ocean, anywhere near water.  Normally used as a rather intense greeting, she can also use it to her advantage in battle if she needs to.  This can leave the target pretty scratched up or bruised, but usually Loretta hurts herself too in the process.

Discharge: (Inflicts damage on all enemies in the room. It may also afflict enemies in the room with a Paralysis status. A Pokémon with the Paralysis status has slowed movement and can't take action.)
A shockwave unleashes from around Loretta, hitting any targets nearby.  It's a move she doesn't particularly like to use, because it takes a lot of energy from her to use it.  She learned it by accident during a surfing incident, where she was in deep, dangerous waters where feral pokemon lived and she needed to defend herself.  She's still learning to perfect it, but for now, it's somewhat out of control when she uses it.

Psychic: (The target is hit by a strong telekinetic force. It may also reduce the target's Sp.Def stat.)
A move Loretta learned upon Evolving into Alolan Raichu.  It's a strong move of hers, which she has adapted to help her in every day cases-using it to reach high places or move heavy objects out of the way-and also in battle-she can toss her target in the air or further away from her-but takes a toll on her her head, giving her immense headaches if she uses it too often or for too long.

Hidden Power (Dragon): (A unique attack that varies in type depending on the Pokémon using it.)
A sudden beastly power has begun to stir inside Lori... a hidden power beginning to manifest itself.  At it's current stage, it simply shows as small bursts of uncontrollable, almost feral urges- she becomes somewhat aggressive, and has to fight to suppress the power beginning to grow inside of her.  In a way, she's fighting off an inner "dragon", unable yet to direct its power into a controlled attack, and simply left with mood swings that come and go as her untamed move pleases, occasionally manifesting as bright, purple, ghostly dragon claws that flood over her hands.  As of yet, she's not been able to control it enough to do anything with it, the claws simply intangible but terrifying nonetheless.

Big and loud- those are the two best words to describe Loretta as simply as possible. She has a booming voice and uses it to talk over people when she wants to be heard. She's very vocal, and is not afraid to speak her mind. A little too rash in that aspect, though- she doesn't usually think much before she speaks-or acts, for that matter. She works on instinct, and sometimes-usually-her instincts cause her to make decisions based on her emotions, which can sometimes leave people hurt or offended. Can be very opinonated, and won't hesitate to say what she means from the get go.
She's never one to back down from a challenge, especially one she sets for herself. She loves to prove herself in any way she can, and is VERY stubborn. Once she has her mind set on something, it's hard to talk her out of it-whether it's a good idea or not, if she wants to take care of business it's best to stay out if her way. There's really no stopping her when she barrels her way through a challenge!
Lori can be described as a big sister type-although perhaps a more aggressive version of one. She's a big hugger, and will pull anyone who seems like they're unsure of themselves or nervous out of their comfort zones and into the party- everyone should have a good time! If you get on her best side, though, be ready to have your bones crushed- she is a very strong hugger.
She is always willing to lend a hand, and will jump at any opportunity to help someone out-whether it is asked of her of not. She always does things with good intentions, but can be a little misguided on how to handle certain situations. She will push her way into someones problems in order to try and find a solution, and can be a little oblivious to a persons feelings in this case- but never with the intention to make someone uncomfortable.
When it comes to her own problems, she is more likely to attend to someone else's before her own. She wants to put others before herself, sometimes sacrificing her own comfort or desires in order to do so. In a way, she's inattentive of her own emotions when it comes to taking care of those she loves.

History:
Loretta is the eldest in a family of four, composed of her Bewear father Damian, her Raichu mother Arianna, and her Stufful brother Lucas, and grew up in the busy beachside Hau'Oli City.  As a young Pichu, it was inevitable that she would evolve quickly-she always seemed to make friends wherever she went, and was beloved by many of the people in her town.  Even in a city as big as Hau'Oli, the community was tight-knit, and everyone knew your name.

She practically grew up on the sand, always having a passion for the ocean surf, and the feeling of sand between her toes.  It was difficult to pull her away from it, but she lived and breathed the salty air that surrounded her.  She got her passion to surf from her mother, who taught her at a young age and helped her passion grow, and as she grew older, she in turn tried to pass down her passions to those around her.  She would get mobbed by children at the beach who watched her surf, all of them asking her to show them how to ride the waves like she did.  Loretta was a wonderful teacher-she had a heart for the people around her, and always knew how to bring everyone together.

Loretta made a bit of a name for herself in her community-her surfing abilities seemed to grow every passing day, and the amounts who came to see her surf grew as well.  She would enter local competitions to meet those with the same passions, and her pride began to swell.  She knew she was making her city proud when she got on that board and rode those waves.

Time passed, her love for surfing never faded, even during the scariest moments you could experience out in the ocean-getting knocked into deep water, encountering wild ocean Pokemon defending their territories- and her personality seemed to grow as she did.  She became more outgoing, and confident, and was proud to be a part of this city.  At the age of 18, she was given a Thunderstone as a birthday gift, and evolved into the fun-loving Alolan Raichu she is today.  Along with her evolution, she grew more aware of her power with the moves she had learned, and with her fathers' help, learned to control and use them to her advantage in day to day life.

But growing up comes with a lot of changes-things she may have never noticed before as a child.  She became more perceptive of the voices of those around her, and began to realize there was a bit of a stir brewing between the people in her city.  There was talk about controversy between people supporting moves and those who were against it, and she could feel in the air the unease this sort of talk started to bring to the community-albeit infrequent, it still lingered, and if you listened close enough, it was whispered among people, and Loretta didn't like it.  Her father had taught her, upon discovering her first move, that these abilities were something to be proud of-they were a part of you, and a part of Pokemon altogether.  It was what united everyone as a species, and to give up your right to use those abilities was to give up a part of yourself.  Loretta held those beliefs strongly in her heart, and although she only heard whispers of this sort of talk in her town, her desire to learn more about this movement grew, and she turned to the internet to read up on the origins of all this Anti-Movement talk.  She joined forums to read up on both sides' opinions on the matter, but her heart never swayed-she believed all Pokemon should be free, and by restricting ones natural abilities just seemed wrong.

Her passion for this cause was strong, and although she kept it secret from her family-who only wished to stay peaceful and although they, too, disagreed with this kind of idea, wished not to push their beliefs onto others-she was very outspoken about it outside of her familial circle.  She desired to know more, to see first hand how things were in regions less free than hers, and soon the opportunity to do so showed itself-with an email from a strange "Mr. Cool".  It talked about the potential move-ban in Lumiose City-a possibility Loretta had read about throughout her internet discussions-and how there was a movement going on to try and put a stop to it-the Argo Navis.  Loretta's heart swelled at the opportunity-how could she say no?  She was immensely passionate about this, and she couldn't stand by and do nothing when an opportunity was placed in front of her.  So, despite the sorrow it brought her to leave her beautiful beach city, Loretta made preparations to head out to the Kalos region, and do her part where and when she could to keep Pokemon free.

The news that she was planning to move was a big shock to her family-her parents were against it at first.  Hau'Oli was home, and Loretta was part of it.  If she left, part of their home would leave with her.  But Loretta was determined, this was something she felt in her heart that she had to do.  Her parents, well aware that you couldn't stop Loretta once she had it in her head to do something, hesitantly agreed to support her on her journey.  They helped her search for a small apartment in Lumiose City, and purchased her ticket for her, and once she was all set to go, they said their heartbroken goodbyes.

The beach and her family would always be in her heart, no matter where she went.  She was connected to them no matter how far away she would go, and she was willing to do whatever it took to make sure that connection between them would not be severed.
